Upcycled Vintage Ashtray Stand
So this is the updated ashtray stand. I painted it, added painted clay flower pots and plants.
New use for this stand that was missing ashtrays.

McCoy Lost Glaze Teapot and Saucer
So today after stopping off at the Varage sale (neighborhood on-line garage sale) meet, (picking up some vintage McCall's magazines), I went to a nearby thrift store. I found a number of items but the one that I chose to post today is a McCoy teapot & saucer. At first I did not notice the mark on the bottom. But after further checking I did find the McCoy mark, I think it was more difficult to see due to the design. I had never seen a glaze design like this, to me it is not typical McCoy. After more research I found this is called the Lost Glaze. What a beauty!!
I found this description on another listing:
"This teapot was produced by McCoy shortly before the plant burned down in the late 1940's. It had a limited production and was not produced again or reproduced. That is why it is known as the Lost Glaze line."

Kafin New York Necklace
On Thursday I went to the Golden Nugget flea market and to Lambertville, NJ with my mom and brother. We shopped the flea market and the lovely shops in town. We had a great day!
At the flea market I did make a few purchases. My mom laughs at me because I always find something!
I found a Kafin New York necklace. It has multi-strand gold tone chains of different styles holding a lovely disc pendant. The pendant is filigree with gem stones. Just love it!

Vintage Windows Repurposed
I have quite a few old windows and look for ways to repurpose them.
On this first one, I took vintage wrapping paper and decoupaged pieces on each pane.

I took this window that is worn and dingy and added a lovely lacy doily that I stiffened and attached like a valance. I love the look!
More to come!!

Brass dog bottle opener
I found this neat bottle opener at a thrift store in Wildwood, NJ. It's an unusual brass standing dog opener. Even on vacation I search for thrift stores and yard sales! Can't help myself.
